Getting Around

Flying in for PIFF

When flying to New York City for PIFF, there are three airports in the area:

Getting Around NYC

If your destination is not within walking distance, public transportation is one of the most efficient ways to get around NYC. You can get around with yellow cabs and ride shares (Uber, Lyft, Revel, etc.), but traffic can be unpredictable. Also, parking can be very challenging and expensive in NYC so we advise against renting a car.

  • Public Transportation
    • We strongly encourage all PIFF attendees to use NYC’s public transportation.
    • For your convenience, here is a list of NYC Subway stations closest to this year’s PIFF venues. Use MTA’s Trip Planner for more detailed routes and transit options.
      • NYPL for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center | Subway Station: 66 St. – Lincoln Center
      • Noreetuh | Subway Stations: Astor Place, 3 Ave.
      • Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian | Subway Station: Bowling Green
      • Village East by Angelika | Subway Stations: 8th St. – NYU, Astor Place, 1 Ave.
      • Ascent Lounge New York | Subway Station: 59 St. – Columbus Circle
